Plus WorldRemit’s website and process are so much easier to navigate. I was so happy when I found this alternative to Western Union, whose website kept sending me to the US version, not the UK one, and whose customer service was more of a disservice. I make regular overseas payments and highly recommend WorldRemit. The option to send to mobile money is fabulous, and the one time I had a problem, their help team contacted me within the hour and fixed it right away. Western Union was revolutionary in its day, and held the market for a long time, but you can’t help feeling they’re slipping behind the technological times.

Can you change the language of the world remit app? It’s currently in English but if the person speaks and reads only Spanish, can you alter it accordingly?

      Hi Jorge,

Thanks for your comment. Yeas, well spotted. It may be that non-english versions of the app are only available from non-english speaking countries (as the primary language).

The good news is that WorldRemit.com is a responsive website and so is easily viewed from a smart phone. From there you can change the language options from the Menu.

      Best regards,
      The iCompareFX Team

Personally Iḿ just happy WU is no longer a ´monopoly´ when it comes to international transfers. I had used them for over 10 years and though most everything went smoothly, the few times I had to call their call center I have had atrocious customer service. Like horrible. When World remit popped up on the facebook ads I was hesitant. But after my first time using it, I am sold. Never WU again.
